This summer, would you like to enjoy a different kind of evening in Tarragona that combines live music, heritage and a glass of cava in a wonderful cloister?
Summer Nights at Tarragona Cathedral is a series of concerts that transforms the church's central nave into a unique stage to savour live music in an exceptional setting.
Fridays will be devoted to organ recitals by the organists Jordi Vergés and Jonatan Carbó, whilst on Saturdays the programme includes guest artists and ensembles offering a selection of traditional music, classical repertoires and new contemporary sounds.
Each event will conclude with a glass of cava in the Cathedral cloister, completing a cultural experience designed to enjoy Tarragona's summer evenings at a leisurely pace.

25 July · Awen Duet
Awen Duet is a musical project formed by Mateu Bauçà on harp and Laura Pont on vocals. Its name comes from the Welsh word Awen, meaning “inspiration”, which is precisely what they aim to convey: an emotional and magical experience that connects with the audience. Through tangos, boleros, havaneres and world music, they create an intimate and evocative atmosphere that invites listeners to travel. A delicate and highly sensitive proposal that turns each performance into a unique moment.
1 August · Alba i Santi Careta
Alba and Santi Careta present Sons d’un país, a musical journey through the Catalan Countries that brings together traditional melodies, popular songs and contemporary repertoire. With trumpet, voice and guitar, they offer an intimate proposal that connects jazz with the musical roots of the territory.
15 August · Pau i Aina
Aina Hujic Mor and Pau Hernández Alenyar form a viola and piano duo that champions Catalan music from an international perspective. Their programme combines works by Catalan composers with great classics from the European repertoire.

GOIG is a musical and stage proposal inspired by goigs and popular devotions. It recovers the oral heritage of inland Catalonia and reinterprets it through a contemporary sound that combines subtle electronics, unadorned voice and organic instruments.
29 August · Gerard Flotats
Gerard Flotats is one of the young Catalan cellists with the greatest international projection. Awarded in prestigious competitions and currently training at the Royal Academy of Music in London, he will offer a cello concert with piano accompaniment.
